Meeting's Memo #1 (Mon 15/9/08)

1. Flight (20/11/08 )

There are some of us who are taking Jetstar FLight from Melbourne to Osaka (through GOld COast) on 20/11/08. The flight will depart at 6.00 and will arrive in Osaka (Kansai airport) at around 18.40. This flight is still on offer and will end on 11/09/08.

Flight number: JQ430


2. Accommodation in Osaka (20/11/08 - 21/11/08 )

Since no one wants to take a midnight train from Osaka to Kanazawa (which will arrive at K. at 3 in the MORNING), we have decided to stay overnight in Osaka and take the next morning's train to Kanazawa instead (i.e, will arrive at Kanazawa on 21/11/08). We will be meeting (and / or) staying in the following hotel.

Reasons: Cheap + convinient + looks like it's EASY enough to find =D!
Price : about $15 per night and futon provided (?)and gawd, HEATER!
Style : Japanese style room with tatami mat and shared bathroom etc etc (read on the website XP)

3. Train to Kanazawa from Osaka (21/11/08 )

-- CONTACTING DURING THE TRIP --

* The best idea is to confirm our hotel arrangements before the trip (a
good week's advance). This will solve contacting WITHOUT a phone - when
we get one, we can go email crazy. HOWEVER...

The group on the Jetstar flight (from now on known as TEAM OSAKA JETSTAR.
Hee.) should nominate a leader of sorts. This should make sure you guys
know WHERE to go and WHAT TIME to wake up and so forth. All the way down
to the OCD habit of drawing practice route maps and runners. You think
getting to the airport was worth getting a pat on the back, it's less
funny when you're stranded in Kagoshima. If you guys think you can all
manage this cooperatively, you need to at least someone who carries the
shit (the one with the lightest bag?)

During the meeting we talked about exchanging details. We already have
this email, but it'll be useful closer to the date to get ahold of mobile
numbers and msn/facebook thingamajigies for us to talk. We shared our
